Important Information from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal (Regd.): Following our plan to protest, The Prime Minister of India issued a statement on the Martyrdom Status of Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru & Sukhdev which says- "That Shaheed Bhagat Singh was a martyr in the supreme national cause of independence is a fact. It is not dependent on the presumed presence or absence of official records. His role in our freedom struggle is an inalienable part of the discourse of our independence. He is a part of our proud national legacy. The nation will always be grateful to Shaheed Bhagat Singh and other freedom fighters who laid down their lives for a better future for India." Also Following discussion with PMO office we have been assured that the efforts will be made to rectify records at the earliest. Henceforth in this light of hope and assurance, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal has decided to post-pone The Protest that we had planned for tomorrow, until further notice, hoping for an immediate and stringent action to be taken and failing in which, The protest shall be held with full force.
