***Important News Regarding Education Programming at Longue Sault Public School*** A hard copy of this letter has been sent home with every student today: November 12, 2014 Dear Parents/Guardians and Community Members: We are pleased to inform you that, effective September 2015, Longue Sault Public School and Rothwell-Osnabruck School will each offer 40-minute and half-day Early French Language Programming. These expanded program offerings will provide a positive shift towards comprehensive, community-based schools. As we prepare for September 2015, Principals Sarita Anderson and Ewen McIntosh will work alongside parents, school staff and the Upper Canada District School Board to ensure that your questions are addressed as effectively as possible. Right now we are at the earliest stages of preparations for next September and are looking forward to sharing the details of our transition plan with you in the new year. Until then, please know that we are committed to working with you on an ongoing basis and will keep our communications open as we proceed.
