***Important Roadway Bulletin from the City of Oviedo*** Please make note of the following information: What: Mitchell Hammock Road and Clara Lee Evans Traffic Signal/Turn Lane Improvement Project Who: Contractor – Atlantic Civil When: Friday, January 24th – Saturday, January 25th The contractor will be milling Mitchell Hammock Road at Clara Lee Evans Way this Friday. In addition to the milling, the contractor will be working the base material on southbound Clara Lee in preparation for paving. This means, once again, that southbound Clara Lee will be closed and the left turn lane (and median) from Mitchell Hammock Road onto Clara Lee will also be closed. Please note, the median in front of LA Fitness is barreled off to allow left turns out of the LA Fitness Plaza only. No U-turns are allowed. Northbound Clara Lee will remain open. Even though the median is closed to traffic, the west side of the median will be maintained and accessible for emergency services to head westbound on Mitchell Hammock Road. Maintenance of traffic will be in place including detour signs along Mitchell Hammock Road. Paving will follow Saturday morning starting at 7am. The project is wrapping up.
