A container of water hung from a branch will help birds and small tree dwelling animals, but remember to put in a stick or some stones so there is a way out if they happen to fall in. Bird baths are great, please fill up with cool, fresh water each day and refresh during the day where possible. Reptiles may also be in search fo water, you can place a container of water near fence lines, this will enable reptiles to find water rather than come up to houses to find a dripping tap. Remember if you see flying-foxes hanging in low branches or on the ground, they are in trouble. Please call WIRES on 1300 094 737.
