Important update for Australian Student Visa Applications from Punjab This is to inform you all that Australian High Commission (AHC) is now keeping a close watch on abroad education consultants sending applications from Punjab, India. According to the recent experiences, Punjab is considered as high risk immigration regions by the Australian High Commission. Taking this into consideration now, AHC has started rejecting the below mentioned cases: Following cases will not be accepted: * Profiles with large gaps. * Profiles with fake experience letters. * Profiles filling their gaps with a private computer diploma certificates and also having other weaknesses making the entire case extremely weak is unaccepted to University as well as AHC. * Spouse cases at Bachelor’s level. * Recent marriage cases will not be accepted. Marriage should be at least a year old. * Profile with low IELTS i.e. below 5 score. It is requested that you should take care of the following points before pursuing the applications further. * Counsel your student well regarding the details related to application, university, funds and VISA procedures. * Depending on case to case basis, work experience will be verified from the employer. So, an applicant must inform his employer regarding the this verification and should get a positive response from the employer regarding the details of the applicant. * There are some universities which require Form 16 as a proof for verification of employment. * For spouse cases at Master’s level, where the main applicant is a female, it is strongly recommended that the dependent should have strong academics/work experience and his profile should match up with that of the applicant.
