Important update to All Aqua Sphere Open Water Participants: as of 10:21pm tonight, we have been informed by our organizers in Pico De Loro Cove that the beach has been closed today and will be closed tomorrow due to very strong winds and bad weather now in Batangas as super typhoon Odette is expected to make landfall. Please be advised that due to safety matters, the Open Water race may have to be postponed on Sunday. We are currently in coordination with the advance party in Pico and please stay tuned for further updates and announcements on this matter starting 8:00 am tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience but your safety is our concern. Thank you!
