Impressions Day 2, at 2014 AAC National Championships - Championnats Nationaux 2014 Rough weather, man oh man we dogsports people are a tough lot :D I have to admit today was a tough day, it almost did me in! lol I was cold, I was wet and sometimes it was tedious... I volunteered to either ring crew or leash run for three events, which pretty much kept me from the first run to the last busy for the whole, day, and rain all afternoon :D I wasnt the most efficient ring crew member at the end I admit, sorry about that! But I do love agility!!! What a joy to watch all the different takes on courses and different teams playing to their strengths, you got to know your dog... !! So many awesome runs, I LOVED watching Leslie Lord and Edit, and Sandie and Nelly, Adrian Rooyaker, Tamara and Blurr... man oh man that young lady has talent, grace and patience, watch for them, they are definitely up and coming :D And of course there were so many others. Inspirational, the lot of them!! First time seeing Susan Garrett, too. All great dogs, oh and I must say the Quebecers are a good looking team, LOL handlers and dogs ;) I may have been gawking! Seriously tho all sweet to see lovely Poodles, Vizslas, all those Belgian Sheepdogs, and the more common Tollers, Shelties and Border Collies AND an odd Whippet, one or two Italian Greyhounds and the Bearded Collies one of which was SOOOO much dog and so much fun, the handler had the greatest attitude, just awesome! Gamblers courses were nuts, I better start teaching the boys directionals after contacts and obstacle differentiation and being able to handle from inside a box, lol
