In 1956, Perry Como waxed this tune about a man whos obsessed with a mannequin. I stand left, I stand right, outta my head coz Im outta sight. His version can be heard in comments section of this post. It was a hit. I guess it connected with a lot of people, somehow. The Downliners Sect coughed this up ten years later, replacing the I stand left bit with an outta sight guitar solo. It flopped.
