In 1983 as president of Wisconsin Hooved Animal Humane Society I - TopicsExpress

In 1983 as president of Wisconsin Hooved Animal Humane Society I experienced my first court case pertaining to the link between substance abuse animal abuse and child abuse. In 1984 I was drawn into a family trying to help them with domestic abuse. I then was drawn into a vacuum of advocation against abuse. I literally experienced abuse to become an empathetic advocate. I then went on to attend 12 universities to educate myself to help others. Substance abuse causes a chemical in balance and lack of REM sleep. Sleep deprivation and poor diet contribute to mental illness. Without professional help this predisposes the abuser to become violent. This is a simplified explanation of the process . When professional providers Are unavailable I become the provider until professional help is available through hospitals and medical providers. I constantly advocate treatment to educators and law-enforcement. The public school where I was an English teacher and counselor became a grass roots innovator creating programs for victims of child abuse. We were one of the first educational institutions to employ a police liaspn officer. We innovated programs such as mothers against drunk driving and students against drunk driving. Our entire school district became extremely aware of the importance of treatment programs for students who were victims of domestic violence. We outwardly spoke of suicide prevention. Our programs extended to other school districts as we became a living example. In 2002 I left the school district to do this work on a daily basis operating from Highland sunrise in Seymour Wisconsin nonprofit. My own marriage collapsed as a result of my dedication to prevent child abuse. My spouse ridiculed my Christianity. I suffered financial disaster but I persevered. I worked with law enforcement to be PROACTIVE. I was ridiculed resented and victimized by the system but I was trying to improve. I pleaded, instead of waiting for the substance abuser to commit a violent act please place this individual into treatment before the violence occurs. To this day I stand as a living example that until the victim commits the violence he or she cannot be forced into treatment. I was nearly killed before my victimizers finally received treatment. I put my life on the line so that they could get medical care dental care vision care and prescriptions and be under the care of a licensed psychiatrist. To provide for this I have become a target of abuse. If I am one day killed in the line of duty my life legacy stands. When I see violence I cannot merely walk away. When I see an injury I must provide care. I was brought up in the community of Seymour Wisconsin where we take care as our civic duty to be outstanding citizens. In providing care we do not harm or distress the individual any more than they have already been distressed. We approach every situation with loving care kindness and genuine concern. In order for me to continue in my program I must take a stand. I cannot allow my personal funds which could be used for individuals in crisis to be misallocated toward someones personal gain. Being nonprofit I account for every penny. I prepare a yearly tax return honestly reporting my financial situation. At times I have had to use the court system to recover misallocated funds. I have been 100% successful at that. Every account is documented and pictures and witnesses accompany each case, whether it be child-abuse animal abuse or abuse of this program. The largest part of this program is education and I am a lifetime licensed teacher certified by the state of Wisconsin and licensed nonprofit through the state of Wisconsin. Every year in the United States more than 6 million cases of child abuse are reported. Seven children die daily and that number is increasing. Every 10 seconds a report of child abuse occurs. 22% of women and 7.4% of men were assaulted today by their partner. 60% of Native American women have been assaulted. Due to racial bias black children are twice as likely as white children to suffer child abuse. 1.1 million people are homeless in the United States. Yet according to amnesty international USA, vacant houses out number homeless people by five times. In Brown County the situation is ongoing daily as Christian organizations attempt to provide homeless shelters only to be protested upon by the community. Outrageous! The first step to alleviate this situation is a universal health plan. Caring for less fortunate individuals would lower the crime rate and the public would enjoy more safety. It is by far cheaper to provide healthcare than it is to increase construction of more prisons and jails. Nonprofit organizations work to alleviate the problem. I am nonprofit supporting my program with personal funds from my teachers annuity. I work for every dollar I contribute. I receive no donations or government funds. Numerous organizations such as mine have sprung up all over the state of Wisconsin. A global program unwanted horse coalition.org provides information how you can become a satellite of this program. First you must have a Genuine desire to be caring kind supportive understanding and helpful. You must not have ulterior motives to profit or a credit your own selfish personal gain. You must be willing to complete training or to self educate. Volunteering at a center to comprehend daily activities is the best way to enter this career field. Courage integrity and perseverance, honesty and empathy must be present in your personal characteristics. Spiritual awareness is a must! If you want to join me on this Christian walk I would welcome your support.
