In 1990 in front of the house in Fort Collins at 625 Mathews where we lived my daughter Laurel and I planted a Cottonwood tree. It was no taller than three feet and about the diameter of a pencil. Laurel is standing in front of it in 2000 and again in 2010, ten and twenty years later. I guess you could say we all grew up together! Trees are beautiful gauges of our life. Every time I am in town I am sure to stop by and say hello to our tree. When you are in the neighborhood please stop by and give the tree a big hello for me!
