In 1999 on the last night of the 20th century on Earth. The starships U.S.S. INDEPENDENCE, U.S.S. MULTIVERSE, U.S.S. LIBERTY and U.S.S. ISIS wENT back in time to that night to stop the Y2K bug. A computer virus that was created in the 34th century to send Earth (the influencing power and a founding of the Federation into a technological Stone Age). The crews of those ships saved humanity and set their realities timeline back on its proper course and series of events. However, in London one the temporal agents had a fail safe. The fail safe was a signal to let the future faction he was working for know his mission failed. The message made it to the 34th century to the warn the Sphere Builders. That wasnt the only place the fail safe message went to. It also went somewhere deep in the gamma quadrant. Now Section 31 doesnt know what to do, because they have their hands in so many things such as the Temporal Cold War. Not to mention scouting all unforeseen threats to the Federation and its safety. The Xindi Avians, the sixth Xindi species once thought to b extinct is now KNOWN to b still in existence. So, on the low, they gave orders Captain Susan Core of the U.S.S.
