In 2007 Election SA Greens polled a measley 6.49% but with preferences of 9.35% leeped to 15.84% =129,451 votes electing Hansen-Young. All this from 16 minor parties... And the Greens supported Labor into office. The liberals primary vote still had 12.73% 128,129 primary votes left after allocating Bernardi & Birmingham their senate seats, is this democracy 6.49% beats 12.73% ?
