“In 2008, the Left thought they had a slam dunk. They had the House, they had the Senate, they had the man in the White House, and their agenda was all written out. And those Sixties radicals, you know, the Bill Ayers and the Bernardine Dohrns, those types who have been burrowing through the Democratic party, and the unions, and the media, and the universities, finally everything had come together for them. And they were going to have a revolution in this country. They were going to take control of State power. “In 2009 and in 2010, the miraculous happened. The Tea Party came out of nowhere, a bunch of amateurs and novices stood up and basically took back the House. And that brought the agenda of the Left to a grinding, screeching halt, to stop them cold-stone dead. Because I said, the Tea Party saved America. If they had not done that, the entire agenda of the Left would be in now: Card check, cap and trade, green jobs, Obamacare would be locked in. Ten, twelve, twenty million illegals would be voting in this election. Conservatives would be done.”
