In 2010, Tea Party conservatives rode a wave of fear, uncertainty, and anger about the state of our economy to successfully gain the majority in the House. They campaigned on the claims that the would fix the economy, create jobs, and defend freedom... Since then, they have: - Supported legislation that takes away a womens rights to make personal healthcare decisions for themselves. - Opposed marriage equality. - Supported the requirement of a photo ID in order to exercise the right to vote. - Slashed food stamp benefits. - Ended unemployment benefits. - Killed programs to create jobs for returning veterans. - Supported legislating religious based laws. - Shut down the government. - And have tried to repeal Obamacare --- FIFTY TIMES! So how are they doing on their promises?
