In 45 minutes, POTUS will take to the Rose Garden and tell whether he has decided upon a limited strike as opposed to regime change. He is a reluctant warrior whose run for the POTUS was based on getting us out of military conflict and not into it. There is a lesson here in foreign policy. A crisis does not care what the party of the President happens to be. Barack is like Al Pacino.....he keeps trying to get out.....but forces keep pulling him back in. I am sure that the choices were much less complicated when he was in the Senate. At least it looked easier. Make the decision,man. Give Congress full throat. Make sure you are aligned with the War Powers Act. And be damn sure you can verify that phone call between the Syrian generals that the gas had a larger effect than they intended. Sure, there will be blowback, but who protects the rights of those gassed children and families. No good options here only bad ones.
