In Afghanistan, It has always been my dream to see and feel - TopicsExpress

In Afghanistan, It has always been my dream to see and feel professionalism in true sense. I have looked for it everywhere, I changed my approaches, did all my best but couldnt see it, couldnt feel it, maybe because it wasnt there. To me it became like searching fresh water in sub-Saharan deserts. It may look simple to you, but the deeper you go in your field, the more this lack of professionalism will look a difficult disappointment. It will hurt you deep, may be because it straightly targets the conscience. I can say this with every confidence that this lack of professionalism has cost more 60% of literate class of Afghan Citizens their profession and field of expertise. If we look at it with a more awaken conscience, it means that with this Afghanistan has signed its paralyzing future. To get to my dream of seeing professionalism in my Afghanistan, I have started the “Professional Afghans Association”. With the hope that while people conscientiously participating in their countrys affairs, they avoid discussing politics and polarizing topics, instead more focusing on their own field, developing their knowledge and developing the level of the knowledge of their field in the country. Today, everyone, in suit and in street regardless, comments on politics, every second word that we utter is politics, cursing one side, while taking the side of another leader of misfortunes. I have taken this step, not because I am sure that it will change everything out of sudden, but because I want to be conscientiously sure of the fact that I have tried what was in my capacity. I am formally launching it on this New Year eve, hoping that 2015 will become a turning point for Afghanistan in all terms particularly in terms of proficiency. Looking to the spirit and potential of our new generation, I believe that 2015 against all odds and challenges will mark a new era in Afghanistan, and this year will be remembered as the beginning of happy years. I hope all professional Afghans participate in this with me, and put hand to each other’s hands in making Afghanistan a better place for professionals and ultimately for living.
