In Buddhism it is very auspicious (and part of its religious practice) to walk around Stupas. Even if you are not a Buddhist, the benefits of walking around a Stupa are incredible. It brings peace of mind, gives the body physical exercise and, if you chant Om Man Ne Pad Me Hum or another mantra, it feeds the soul. They say that many sins from many lifetimes can be erased by this simple practice. Stupas are like shrines that contain, within their building work, religious relics, written prayers and other auspicious objects. Boudhanath, in Nepal, houses the largest Stupa that is a must for Buddhist pilgrims. For some people, going there will just remain a lifetime dream ... for me, its like a second home ... for those who would like to go, are just curious and/or will never have the opportunity to go, I wish to share with you a walk around the Stupa. I hope that even by this virtual means, it brings you good fortune, health and peace. One Global Love ...
