In Cde August Masango we lost a highly dedicated,gallant,humbled,selfless leader.A man of integrity and virtue,one who always smiled even in times of great adversity.He was always willing to go out all out and extend his hand in order to help those in need.During election campaigns in the ANC he willingly commited every resource he had just for the love of his movement.Unlike most individuals,he has never mongered for power and campaign for himself to ascend to position of power.Instead he led his branch with honour and integrity.As one of the seasoned campaigners and lobbyists in our Province,he lost many battles but he remained highly committed in winning the WAR.He died just after 10 days in his new task as the Nkangala RTT scriber...To some of us,he was not only our fellow comrade but also played a critical role in being a mentor,a father figure whenever we crossed the line in militant politics of the ANCYL and he was never shy to call us into order.For this we are highly indebted in your contribution to the glorious movement and shall continue with the fight...Hasta siempre Che August,Federal!
