In Color or Black & White: Social Learning Skills are part of Bonding, they are learned by example. It can come from us our from another Dog, this is a pathway of Love vs. Dominance. Want to be a Leader or an Alpha, then freely give resources, knowledge, protection, caring, food, warmth, Love. Set an example to follow vs. obedience. Tucker in this photo is doing a neck/head cover that flows into a muzzle grab/hold. This is for Dogs only in my methodology, of Non-force Dog Training, Pins, alpha rolls, grabbing and holding any Dogs muzzle to deter them from biting or reacting, by a human with their hands or teeth (Yes, dont bite your Dog back) is out of our wheelhouse, although, after years of bonding this can be part of your play style with your Dog, (again your play style, I will never say should, Ill always say could.) Now go Hug your Dog. or better yet nudge them with your forehead, its a allogrooming thing. (Warning, if your Dog is asleep or distracted, dont head-butt them, start out slowly while petting, baby steps.....)
