In Dec of 2008, a girl that was way out of my league let me take her to a concert in Knoxville. It was only our 2nd date. The band was Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. I remember listening with her, and I remember being so incredibly nervous and captivated by her beauty. They eventually played a song that completely explained what I was thinking and feeling, called Fire and Dynamite... I couldnt believe that Emily said yes to our first date. I couldnt believe she said yes to our 2nd date... Or 3rd... Or 4th... And so on. I couldnt believe she said yes when I proposed. And then I really couldnt believe that day when her temporary Yes transformed into a permanent I Do. And so today marks our 5th anniversary. Its so hard to believe how blessed of a man I am. My Father truly looks on me with favor as my bride carries our first child.
