In December of 2012 I was recruited to start a new hospice, Emerald Hospice, which was to be a Joint Commision certified hospice. Along with my partner in everything Tracy Rettstatt Crowl and the support of some amazing staff, Dave Cottam, Micah Oliphant, Lois Huddlestone, kayla Courtney, Ashley Lynn Hamblin, & Annette Burgess, today we achieved our goal and have been awarded our letter of certification from The Joint Commission and our letter of recommendation for Medicare Certification.
