In Grade 4 - 6... The girls in class would each have their own Cabbage Patch Kid... but then mysteriously the cabbage patch kids started to whisper talk into the girls ears to do things! Then the cabbage patch kids were writing notes to other cabbage patch kids... The girls were serious about playing with these... then the final straw hit when one girl made a mailbox, complete with adjustable flag... Then they all did it... When you walked into class, all you could see was cabbage patch kids sitting on laps of all the girls... on the desks were all these paper mailboxes taped down... the girls were being postal girls delivering mail to each others kids... It was so out of handd... funny in retrospect... but then the law of the land came all cabbage kids had to stay in the knapsacks but strongly encouraged to do cabbage patch abandonment to leave them at home. The good ole days! Anyone else have a crazy cabbage patch story from the 80s when they were so hot they couldnt be found anywhere in stores? But seriously... just after a lunch break, the girls would have to burp their cabbage patch kids as they just had air for lunch and needed relief! OH BROTHER!
