In January, we were entertained here at Curtis Creek by the music duo Joyful Sounds. They come down from Burlington, Iowa, to entertain us. They have lots of props, and they also get the audience involved in the act, too. We have waved flags and also rung jingle bells during songs they sing. She plays the keyboard and plays violin and sings, and he plays the guitar and sings. He also put on an Elvis mask and went through the audience while he sang an Elvis tune and gave all the ladies a kiss on the cheek like Elvis did during his concerts. I hope everyone enjoyed listening to them; we will have to have them back soon.
