In March 2013, I gave an inaugural lecture for being awarded the Endowed Chair for Experimental Pathology. It was a humbling experience to be awarded this honor, but most importantly I appreciate this endowment that enables me to continue my research in liver patho-biology until my dying day. Thanks Dr. George Michalopoulos for your support and confidence. Thanks to my family-my wife Dulabh K Monga, my daughter Jappmann Monga, my son Jayvir Monga for their love and support. Thanks to my parents, my mother-in-law, my family and my friends for their best wishes. Last but definitely not the least, thanks to my lab members, my research team over the years for dedicating their time and efforts, for helping me unravel the mysteries of liver growth and development, in health and in disease!
