In Mark 12:29 Jesus said Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one - TopicsExpress

In Mark 12:29 Jesus said Here, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord. Ironically, this destroys any bases that Jesus is God as well as all trinitarian beliefs. All in one sentence. Why? There are 2 words here that identify it in plain words. 1) our: Jesus has a God also. The same God of Jews and Muslims, the same God that created Jesus pbuh , the same God that Jesus prayed to and called out to, the same God who give all the prophets the miracles they were able to perform - including Jesus whom by himself could do nothing and was not All-knowing. If he was a part of the godhead or a incarnation of God he would have said your not our. 2) One - only one Lord is what Jesus said. The son of man cannot be equal to God and God still be ONE. The incarnation would make Jesus a God but then there are 2 beings worshipped which goes against ONE Lord. So now, Christians worship Jesus. In its essence , they are no longer serving God, but only a man who they believe is incarnate. A belief that destroys the message of every prophet.
