In Mark 9:22-23 The man comes to Jesus saying, If YOU can do anything, have compassion on us and help us. Jesus in turn ... Puts part of the responsibility back onto the man saying, If YOU can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Mens own unbelief is what puts limits on their realities. So often people cry out to God like this man saying ...God if you can do anything...then ..... Get us out of this fix, make this or that happen. But truth is ... God can do no mighty works outside of mans realm of faith. Mark 6:5-6 And he (Jesus) could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching. Notice here Jesus could do no mighty works, thus he taught ... For faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! Unless the Word of God is taught, faith will not rise to the level of receiving Mighty Works!
