In November 2012, I got involved in trying to help host the JDC West competition in Regina for the first time. The experience had many highs and lows, but overall it was an amazing experience. It strengthened some previous friendships and made many more. I am proud of what we put together. The teams were extremely competitive, and reminded me of why I love this competition so much. The level of competition has dramatically improved over the past 7 competitions. I hope that Gustavson can see an even higher level of competition for the 10th anniversary. I have now completed many roles in this competition. I have competed in tax, been a coach in preparation, been an additional coach at the competition, a case writer, and an OC member. If JDC West 2014 was my last JDC West, it was a great way to go out.
