In November we see lots of Thankful Posts. I wrote one for The Mighty that will be featured this week (maybe even tomorrow) about our amazing second daughter Beth. I am jumping on the bandwagon to make sure to do some thankful posts this month. Today,......A Big Thanks to the Hubs! As we get older the differences that Mike and I have become more and more apparent. He is a saver, I am a spender....He is stoic and black and white...I am emotional and all about the grey area...He likes spicy, I like sweet..He loves The History Channel and National Geographic Channel and I am all about Cooking shows and Say Yes to the Dress. This list could go on and on :) But even though these differences can be annoying, when it comes to loving our kids we are on the same page. I am SO very thankful that my kids have an involved and loving father. He is quiet and sometimes it might seem as if he is behind the scenes but a night doesnt go by that we dont talk about how Zachs day at school was and quite often he texts Em to say Hi and see how she is doing too. I am the worrier and stressor and he is the voice of reason and calm. In this way our kids are very lucky...he has talked me down from jumping to the worst case scenario on many occasions. I never tell him enough how Thankful I am and how happy I am 26 years (plus 7 years of dating) later. So a big Thanks to the Polar Opposite Love of My Life :)
