In #Pakistan, talks between government and protest groups have broken down as opposition leader Imran Khan pulled out of talks with prime minister Nawaz Sherrif. The crisis talks came after demonstrators occupied a high-security ‘red zone’ in front of parliament in Islamabad. MPs were forced to scuttle out the back door of the parliament building. Both Imran Khan and fellow opposition leader Cleric Tahir-ul Qadri continue to demand the resignation of the Prime Minister.
