“In Power Me “contest did not start off as good as I hoped, so I’m going to extend my offer. This is what I’m looking at doing. I would like to train 3 high school athletes in an 8 week high intensity interval training, sports conditioning, speed, agility and quickness, Tabata type of BootCamp we’re going to call it “In Power Me”. Why “In Power”? Empower is defined as to give power or authority to achieve to enable or permit. It’s like the saying goes “you can take a horse to water but you can’t make him drink” in other words I can give you all the tools to succeed, ultimately you have to decide to use them! In Power! My goal is to help someone who normally would not be given this chance to train at a higher intensity, to learn to believe in themselves, on and off the field, and most importantly help them learn that it’s their choices in life that ultimately defines them. Now it is selection based and with that there are a couple of things that are required of them in order to participate in this program part. 1. Must be in high school. 2. Must participate or plan to participate in any sport in high school. 3. Must submit a 500 word essay on the topic of “How my sport In Powers me” submitted to inpowerfitnessandconditioning@gmail subject title “How my sport In Powers me” addressed no later than 12:00 pm August 31, 2013 4. Give me a like, and yes, this is Facebook exclusive. The 3 lucky participants will be announced September 6, 2013 7:00pm via Facebook. Information on rules and regulations will be made available to the 3 lucky participants after they have been announced. “In Power Me” will be held at Anna Gimmestad memorial park, Evans Co. at 5:15 to 6:15pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
