In Shirdi Baba’s Palki procession is taken out every Thursday. Palki at Sai Dham started with annual procession on Gurupurnima day. • The 1st Palki was taken out on Gurupurnima in July 2009 & 2nd Palki again on Gurupurnima in July 2010. • The palki procession has chhote Baba in a beautifully decorated Palki with flowers and devotees sing and dance to their heart’s content all along the route where Baba’s Palki moves from Sai Dham to B-1 market & BG-1, Paschim Vihar. • Procession is accompanied with beats of Dhol, Nagade, Rajasthani dancers, wooden horses, men on stilts and coloured sprays and flower petals being showered. • Many VIPs of the area, councillors, MLA join in the Palki in which more than 1000 devotees participate. • In June 2011 another novel idea where Chhote Baba’s Palki was taken out in Shirdi around the Samadhi Mandir complex with Palki Pujan by Shri Mukund Rao Patel who does Palki Pujan on every Thursday in Shirdi for Baba’s own Palki. • Again on 13th November, 2011, Palki was taken out on Bade Baba’s 3rd sthapna Diwas at Sai Dham along with Sai Bhajan Sandhya and Jugalbandi with live ‘Relief Art Painting’ of Baba by sculptor Dharamdas with mseal on glass. • Now Palki of our Baba has not been restricted to our area of Paschim Vihar and wherever Sai Dham devotees go, Chhote Baba is taken in a palki procession like it happened again in Shirdi in March 2012, then in VaishnoDevi & on 4th August 2012 for Banke Bihari darshan. Achievements: Year 2011 Year 2012 • 2 palkis were taken out last year one in June in Shirdi and in November B-1 Paschim Vihar. • 3 Palkis have already been taken. In March in Shirdi, May in Vaishno Devi and now in August in Vrindavan. 4th palki will again be in Paschim Vihar in November 2012. • Earlier palkis were restricted to Delhi. • Now not restricted to Delhi. Baba going to various places for darshan in Palki. • Strength has doubled. In our Palki in March, school children of Shirdi participated along with local devotees and Sai Dham group. • In Vaishnodevi, along with our team, people who had come for Darshan also participated in our unique palki.
