In Valor there is Hope. The members of the Cottage Grove Police Department wish to express that our thoughts are with our partners and their families of the Dane County Sheriffs Office, the Madison Police Department, and the dispatchers of the Dane County Public Safety Communications Center as they deal with the traumatic incidents in the Town of Deerfield, Town of Primrose and on E Washington Street. We are especially keeping good thoughts for the speedy recovery and return to duty to Sheriffs Lieutenant Brian Hayes and Deputy Roger Finch, who were injured while performing their duties with courage! These incident serve as a reminder of the dangers that law enforcement officers face every day they go to work
