In a cold rehearsal room Lisa Murphy came in to sing a couple of my songs. Just me on keys ans Damo on drums. Ha what did she think? A piano and drums! But she told me my songs sounded like real songs I got that and it meant a lot. I bet she doesnt even remember. But it stuck with me. Then in my studio I pushed her for notes I knew she had. God I must have been an arsehole though. I still remember the way you looked through that window as I sat at the mixing desk. Sorry. But boy did you deliver. All these years on you gave me my proudest moment in music. Probably a small aside to you but everything to me. Thank you.
