In a discussion this week on the page one of our audience members had this to say about the survival of the Church, “What the church needs now is to divorce itself from all conservative ideology and focus on helping the marginalized without judgment of any kind. It should not raise its ire at anything except conservatism.” Another member stated, “Millennials are leaving the Church because they dont find Jesus there.” We couldn’t agree more with the above two statements. That brings us to something we hear almost every day. A person finds this community says: “Oh thank God! I thought I was the only one! I’ve finally found a home!” Atheists often tell us: “I didn’t know there were Christians like you. I’m now forced to adjust my perspective. It’s obvious not all Christians are the same.” Do you know why people tell us these things? Because they find Jesus here. We’ve been saying it’s time to get back to the teachings of Jesus for over 5 years, every single day. These are the people we want to reach out to. There are millions of them out there. Millions.
