In a few recent conversations it seems to keep popping up. The statements like "how can we know the truth?" There are SO many denominations out there and so many differing thoughts? It is interesting to note that the ones that make such statements are usually arguing with you or trying to make a point that goes AGAINST what the Bible firmly teaches. Here is the problem I see, your looking for truth in the WRONG place!! Your looking for a man to teach and preach truth. Your looking to a pastor to guide your life. Your looking for a teacher to give you the right answers. Stop looking to men, and Look to the Truth itself! Jesus Christ and HIS Word, That is the truth. Not another mans interpretaion of His Word. In essence what these folks are saying is that no one can know the truth because it is subject to interpretation..... That is a LIE. The bible says we will be GUIDED into ALL Truth. How? By the Holy Spirit! IF what is guiding you leads you to confusion, then it Just might not be the Holy Spirit, and if its not the Holy Spirit, then it must be???.....Another spirit!!! Because the bible ALSO says that God is NOT the author of confusion. Ask, seek, Knock, and the answer will be given you!! The bible is NOT confusing!! It only becomes Confusing when we try and get what WE want out of it, twisting and turning it into OUR desire. Hey, my flesh wants physical blessings, It wants to live in sin and still go to heaven, It would Love to be able to DO some laws and thus EARN my way into His Kingdom, it wants alot of things. But I also know that the bible says we must DIE to self. NOT change the Word to FIT SELF. Now you say, But Michael, how do we know YOUR speaking The Truth??? Let Test the Spirits!! Let God be the judge, Using His Word, dive into what I say, see if it lines up! But be willing to admit it if YOUR wrong. Not because I might have been right, but because if your wrong, then it could be a eternal mistake that you probably arent wanting to pay for.
