In a past life, as a medical profession who worked on patients in physical therapy, there are techniques that were employed, that today would seem archaic. We were not able to diagnose Lymes Disease, and treated it as Rheumatoid Arthritis, and we witnessed people dying, and knew something was wrong. But the deaths were not malpractice, medical science had not yet learned about the deer tick, and the disease they carried. There are practices today that will one day prove to be ineffective, even harmful, but I believe that there are those who care, and are working to make things right. In the meantime, be your own advocate, be your own detective. Facebook, the internet and even television are filled with Holistic Practitioners who know the research, and can guide you to competent physicians and therapists, so these kind of situations can be eliminated.
