In a poem of Vaira (about his dear dear mum), he ends it like this: Vaikiyila neer muzhuga; Valloorum serndezhuga; Kaithadiya ennai kooti vandu serthavale. ("kaithangala" appadinu solla vendiya vaarthaya "kaithadiya" nu solli azhaga kootiyirukkaru). continuation........... Enakkonnu aachina unakku vera pillai irukku; Unakku onnu aachinna enakku vera thai irukka?????????? (I love these lines because the idea has originated very very very down to earth words and he has conserved the "down to earth"ness and the ordering of words has given it a poetic touch; unlike the previous paragh, where the wordings look like penned in pure tamil). In a same piece, he has mixed both pure tamil and the normal words. its works fine. (need to test it some times). BTW, I though vaigai is a dummy river. Her he says the village has flooded and lot of dead bodies (vallurum sernthezuga) floating; amongst which his mum rescued him by walking in the shallow areas, while catching his hands tightly (putting herself as secondary, because kaithadi is something that helps the user and not itself).
