In a rare incident, a truthful gem slipped the tongue of the Russias top diplomat Sergei Lavrov. According to a recent remark of Mr. Lavrov, the situation in Ukraine would have been much easier resolved were it just for Europe and Russia (no US that is). Indeed; I even dare to venture as far as to continue the Mr. Lavrovs unspoken thought, by saying that it would have been even easier were it just for Russia. With Crimea annexed and 40k troops massed on the border in April, we all know how that would have played out though. Lavrov also said that it is the US who is pushing Ukraine to the confrontation with Moscow; evidently, according to the views rolling wild today in the halls of Kremlin, with Crimea annexed, saboteurs sent behind the lines to insinuate a fake referendum, and russian tanks rolling into the eastern Ukraine, Ukraine just had to roll over and cheerfully welcome the new-old russian overloards. Well, tough break Mr. Putin, tough break. You may have the gas and all, but, you know, the Earth had moved quite a bit since the end of XIX century. These all bring us to the final third truth that the sooner Mr. Putin dies the better it will be for all, Russia included.
