In a recent conversation, my son and I determined every single driver in Arizona needs a class in drivers safety, at least, once every 5-10 years. The state of Arizona issues drivers licenses until we are 65. That means, we are less likely to renew our knowledge of laws in this state. More recently and more frequently, drivers have entered into the freeway heading the WRONG direction., injuring or fatally killing innocent drivers. Imagine being on a motorcycle? I cannot tell you how many times I have seen drivers even talk on the phone while driving down a freeway, holding their phones, mostly, in their left hands (the one that would indicate a lane change), and veer into my lane. I was forced to take such a class after reaching my point value because of excessive speed. What a BLESSON because I learned SO much! Over 75% of the class were there for running red lights, while a few were caught texting and driving. In the class, we viewed videos of the dangers of sending a text, voice activated or not, while driving. Most of us can probably admit to doing it at one time or another. I was one of them ~ until I took the class! With this said: PUT DOWN YOUR PHONE!!! Your life and mine are not worth losing over a 3-5 second message. LOOK TWICE ~ SAVE A LIFE
