In a scenario of 2 parents who are separated and have 2 kids and fighting for custody . For parent 1 to win the kids hearts by buying them a shit load of stuff that were never given to them while the parents were together just so parent 2 looks bad even though parent 2 has been the care giver and the heart for the kids their whole life . But the kids dont want to go to parent 2 because they arent given or brought somewhere every time they see them because parent 2 would rather worry about their school work and life lessons. Moral of the story, just because you cant afford to bring your kids to the moon and back doesnt mean you cant teach them with hard work and determination they could someday get there themselves .
