In a short 1 minute interview away from network cameras, after an appearance on Russian television, Russia’s Prime Minister (and former President) Dmitry Medvedev confirmed the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life. The woman speaking with him seemed to giggle from time to time, but nevertheless he kept a straight face and kept it short and sweet. Before accepting this fact one must first consider the motivations of such a statement. As far as I know, Medvedev is the highest ranking government official to have ever made such a statement. Over a decade ago former Canadian Minister of Defense Paul Hellyer had began to reveal his knowledge of the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life as have other people in high places, including Karen Hudes, a Yale Law School attorney and whistle blower who worked in the US Export Import Bank from 1980-1985 and in the Legal Department of the World Bank from 1986-2007. The most recent of revelations was when Paul Hellyer spoke at a Citizen Hearing on Disclosure - a non-governmental hearing chaired by six former U.S. congressmen and aimed at, according to the events website, doing what the U.S. Congress had failed to do for forty-five years - which was held April 29 - May 3 of 2013 in Washington D.C. He testified that aliens are living among us and that it is likely at least two of them are working with the U.S. government. While one could argue that Hellyer took on this alien crusade because hes retired and wanted to maintain his relevance and be in the spotlight, people like Hudes and more importantly Medvedev are still very relevant in their respective legal and political fields.
