In a time of hardship and sorrow, A time when all we want is to cry. Cant believe that by tomorrow Its too late for our final goodbye. We feel like there is nothing left, Just a heart full of self regret. For everything you wish youd done To please her - instead of having fun. You now cherish the smallest things Like family gatherings that you felt were a bore. You now wish you could only have one more. Everything you took so lightly You now hold close to you so tightly. We took it all for granted Now feeling so stranded Everything we did cannot be undone or removed. Our respectful understanding has improved. If only we took our chance, But now we can only enhance The knowledge she taught. She had her time - battles she fought, But she had a good ending. It was a Friday - such a blessing. She got to take with her a baby. Always a caring sweet lady Thanking Allah for everything she had Even when the good seemed to be outweighed by the bad, She stayed strong and an optimist. Someone who shall be missed. Portraying the best person she could be, A characteristic many people envy For its something very noble indeed, An ideal we hope to proceed, She portrayed the best role model, Someone who we hope to follow. We must turn to Allah, To him is al baqaa. So listen to me carefully: We must stay strong as a family With love, concerns, and lots of care. We stand united like a pair. She raised us well, and now we must listen. Shell always be in our hearts - within. So we must stay strong and pray, And hopefully one day Well meet in Jannah, for there we will stay, Together - with smiles and have one wonderful day.
