In about two months’ time, NRM will be celebrating victory. The three-person tribunal constituted by Kampala Minister Frank Tumwebaze to investigate Lord Mayor Erias will have completed “its work.” Results from the tribunal are easy to predict; the tribunal will find Lukwago guilty of “misconduct”, “incompetence”, etc. etc., and hence pronounce him fit to be censured / removed from office of the Lord Mayor! Probably, upon throwing out Lukwago, the President, His Excellency Yoweri K. Museveni will officially become His Worship, the Lord Mayor of Kampala as well, and the “grand plans” will proceed. For starters, this is just a political game between NRM and the Opposition. Someone will quickly argue here that it is the KCCA councillors who actually raised a petition to censure the Lord Mayor and things are following the due process of the law. Yes, but that is only the surface truth. There is much more than meets the eye, and it is that hidden agenda (GRAND PLAN AGAINST ISLAM) that I want to uncover here briefly. What is NRM’s grand Plan?
