In all the chaos of losing our phone line and internet connection I have forgotten to mention one rather important thing. One question we are often asked re living in France, by our friends and relatives, is do we feel at home and do the French let you intergrate? Well, Mark Wilson, my husband, has just been elected on to our local council and will help to represent our village for the next 7 years. Not bad when you consider there are only 3 English people registered to vote and two of them are us, and, yes, Im very proud of him :-) And, yes, we do feel fully intergrated and, although we will always truly miss being close to our family, we have always felt at home
