In an investigative report published in the German weekly Der Spiegel two years ago, it was announced that Dolphin submarines that were built in Germany, are in fact portable and hidden nuclear arsenals intended to serve Israel in the event of a nuclear attack from Iran to prevent a nuclear response from land. German Chancellor Angela Merkel has denied the submarines nuclear capacity, but according to the published investigation, the German Defense Ministry officials who were involved in the planning admit that they do have such capabilities. Nuclear-armed submarines are a signal that the Jewish state can strike back in the event of a nuclear attack against it, the newspaper said.
