In as much as it may appear to many that the PP led government is trying to share the blame on the cashgate scandal with the DPP in the just recent audit report submitted to PAC,I think there is some truth in it regarding the fact that some problems may have been inherited by PP from the previous government(DPP). Joyce picked up a fallen thrown when she took over after the death of Mutharika and there were many money sins committed by the late mutharika that were brought to light after his death. Take for instance the foreign currency that was found in Bingus bedroom after his death, the revelation that Mutharika had accumulated over 62 billion wealthy in asserts in his tenure as president more than the 150 million wealth in asserts he had declared before he had ascended to presidency, that he(Bingu) had accounts in foreign lands were he depositedlots and lots of money. If the leader was amessing public funds like this, what about the followers? Some of the looters in DPP went to PP and the looting continued. In my oppinion, for the sake of justice to the people of malawi-less to the poor and more to the tax payers because there are the ones who feel much pain when they are deducted money from their pay or bussiness-both the DPP and PP culprits must be brought to book and be persecuted accordingly. As it will always be: Bingu bought the plane for personal use,but Joyce sold the plane and ate the money falsely claiming she had bought fire arms to deffend the lake from Tanzania.
