In case anyone has any doubt, Before the Grand Jury came back with a verdict, most of you will recall that I said that I would not side with the officer until the Grand Jury has made a decision. I called for all parties to wait until the evidence had been heard and a decision reached. I stated that if there was probable cause for him to be charged I would support that. I will still say that if the Feds determine that Probable cause exists for a charge of civil rights violation, I will support a trial. That being said, the jury has come in. The shooting of Michael Brown was justified under state law. Michael Brown put into motion a series of events that culminated in his death. Might something different been possible? I dont know and dont care. It is sad he died but he made the wrong decisions that day. For those who disagree, you have that right but dont take me to task for my beliefs. I dont care. I repeat. I. DONT. CARE. A Grand Jury has made a decision. I prefer to believe that the GJ had all of the information(released to the public now) and they took their responsibility seriously and reached a fair and legal decision. If you dont like this , unfriend me. But do not try and tell me all the reasons that I am wrong. I believe in our imperfect system. It can make mistakes. But I believe with all my heart this one is correct.
