In case anyone wonders why we find it such a big deal that our Claymore actions use 1 piece bolt assemblies, this is a good reminder. Here we have a factory Remington 700, of which the bolt handle literally fell off onto my workbench this morning as I wiped the rifle down. This is not super common as there are millions of 700s out there(including several I own personally and love) that are functioning perfectly, but this makes the fourth handle failure Ive seen. As you can see in the pics, the brazing was not done correctly and did not have full surface contact between the handle and the body. Glad it happened here, instead of on the hunt.
