In case you havent been to our Creighton Road location in awhile, weve made some changes. Not to the sandwiches but to the beverage selection. We feel offering the customer the best value for their money never goes out of style and we will do it whenever we can. We kicked the can at Creighton Road and now offer soda fountain beverages, including Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer. Weve also added fresh-brewed tea. Sweet and Unsweet. Same tea as at the Nine Mile location. And lemonade too! As one might expect, change doesnt come easy. So to further explain what weve done, and why, Ill repost my reply to a reviewer on UrbanSpoon below. -------------- Rest assured that the only changes we’ve made is to the beverages. We no longer serve canned beverages, or canned tea. Our tea is fresh-brewed, both sweet and unsweet. The tea and birch beer have been well-received at our Nine Mile location for years. We made the change in an effort to also offer the very popular Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer and fresh-brewed tea at the Creighton Road location. To be consistent too, there are free refills at both. We feel that dropping the expensive 12oz. can in favor of a refillable 20oz. cup offered more value to you, our valued customer. Change isn’t always readily accepted and we realize that. Especially when the “new” products are not known to most customers. The new flavors are what is known as gourmet micro-crafted syrups. All made in small batches with lower calorie, real sugar, by Multi-Flow, a small (compared to Coke and Pepsi) company that has been in this business for 75 years. Also new to your beverage choice is “Harvest Squeeze Lemonade,” made with real lemon juice. We offer regular, pink, and diet. But it’s more than just lemonade. This is Alex’s Lemonade Stand lemonade. And a portion of the profits go to support Alexs Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. For us it’s a twofer. Offering a tasty beverage while being a good corporate citizen. There are other flavors we could offer at the Creighton Road location, including Pepsi. That’s the freedom our Multi-Flow distributor allows Philly’s. Unlike the other major soda distributor. You may see other flavors too. Like an orange-cream flavor. You may see that, or even Pepsi or the familiar Dr. Pepper. Neither of which use real sugar.
