In case you havent visited the shelter lately, PADS is in desperate need of a new facility. Not only do we have insufficient space to serve those we currently hold, but this year so far we have had 174 instances of turning individuals away, 81 of which were children. Tonight, the PADS board meets with the city council at 6:00 pm at city hall to discuss possibilities of new building sites. While our organization is small, we provide for incredible needs in this community, and with the help of the day program we have seen incredible changes in the lives of those we serve.
